Ann T. Murphy, of East Weymouth, died May 26 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a nurse at Tufts New England Medical Center for 40 years and also at Hancock Nursing Center.

She loved traveling, reading and her cat Marley.

Wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Maloney, she is survived by her sisters, Madeline Bartlett and her husband, Bob, of Hingham, Jeanne Bowes, of Marshfield, Brenda Madden, of Braintree, and Judith Weston and her husband, Jeffrey, of Hull; several nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; and a special friend, Edward Regan.

She was the sister of the late Mary Girton.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Agatha Parish on June 1. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
