Anne B. Cronin

Anne B. (Quinlan) Cronin, 91, of Gloucester, died Jan. 25.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she was a graduate of Buffalo State College.
After graduation, she joined the Army Air Corps where she met her late husband of 54 years, John J. Cronin. They made their home in Milton where they raised their family.
She taught school for 15 years in the Boston school system. She was a resident of South Yarmouth until 1996, when she moved to Gloucester.
She was an amazing woman who touched everyone she met with her
beautiful smile, soothing voice and wonderful personality.
Mrs. Cronin is survived by her children, Anne M. Burns, of Connecticut, Kathleen Cronin-Reardon, of Gloucester, and Paul J. Cronin, of Kingston; her daughter-in-law, Pam Cronin; her
son-in-law, Tim Reardon; her sisters-in-law, Mary T. Cronin and Marilyn Cronin; her grandchildren,
Brenna Yu, Kelly Reardon, Orianna Reardon,
Kaitlyn Cronin and Colin Cronin; her great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Sean, Patrick and Lucy;
many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and extended family.
She was the sister of late Mary E. Klein, Elizabeth Jordan, Dr. Lawlor F. Quinlan, John F. Quinlan,
William T. Quinlan and Kathleen M. Quinlan,
and sister-in-law of the late Daniel Cronin and Jeremiah Cronin.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Jan. 30. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
