Born in Revere 88 years ago, Anne was a graduate of Somerville High School. She resided in Dorchester for 56 years, Falmouth for 23 years and Weymouth for several years. Beloved wife of the late Walter F. Devoted mother of Julianne W. Fitzgerald of Milton, Christine M. Taylor of Weymouth, Susan W. MacDonald of Braintree, Joan E. Perry of TN, Walter F. Whelan, Jr. of CA & Mark S. Whelan of AZ. Sister of Catherine Slein of Dedham, Maryrose Duffy of Westwood, Joan Ward of Norwood , Frank & Jack Furey both of Winchester and the late William & Edward Furey. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren & her late granddaughter, Elizabeth Kulikowski.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton on Wednesday morning, January 25, at 10:15. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Tuesday, January 24, from 4 to 8pm. Interment in National Cemetery, Bourne Wednesday at 2:30pm.
