Audrey H. Richenburg, of Milton, died Aug. 23 after a battle with cancer.

A decorated equestrian, she was the former owner of Belliveau Stables in Milton, where horses were stabled and bred, and many people took riding lessons.

She was a volunteer at the Milton Animal Shelter, and a member of the Friends of the Blue Hills and German Shepherd Rescue. For many years she provided foster care for Animal Rescue League animals in need of homes.

She is survived by her husband, Lenny C. Szerlong; her brother, Buddy Richenburg, of Medford; her niece, Karen Kelly, of Mendon; her sister-in-law, Sherry Palacio, of Walpole; nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Sally Thomas, of Milton.

She was the sister of the late Alice Kelly.

A graveside service and burial was held in National Cemetery, Bourne, on Aug. 26.
