Barbara T. Ward died at Milton Hospital on March 20.
A retired employee of the Boston School Department, she had resided in Milton for the past 60 years.
Daughter of the late John J. and Theresa (McPhee) Ward, she is survived by her daughter, Teresa W. O’Flaherty, of Milton; two nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Mary F. Harrington.
Mrs. Ward is predeceased by many of her relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home on March 31. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
