Bridget F. (Robak) Bubencik died July 8 at Milton Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Star Junction, Pa., she grew up in Dorchester and lived there until she moved to Randolph 41 years ago.
A retired employee of New England Telephone and Telegraph Co., she was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Mrs. Bubencik was a member of St. Mary’s Seniors, South Boston, as well as the Seniors of St. Mary’s and St. Bernadette’s, both of Randolph, and the First Seniors, Randolph.
Wife of the late Theodore R. Bubencik, she is survived by her son, Robert J. Bubencik and his wife, Pauline, of Wollaston; her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Bubencik, of Florida; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mildred Dzengeleski, of Dorchester; her brothers, John Robak, of Washington state, and Edward Robak, of Quincy, and a friend, Stanley Sinitski, of Randolph.
She was the mother of the late James L. Bubencik, great-grandmother of the late Brendan Bubencik, and sister of the late Raymond Robak and Louise Pienkos.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, South Boston, on July 12. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
