Catherine F. Tuohey, of Milton, died at Quincy Medical Center on Jan. 18.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Milton and attended Milton schools.

She was employed at the Carney Hospital, Dorchester, for more than 30 years before her retirement in 1992.

Miss Tuohey was a former member of the Milton Council on Aging.

She is survived by her sisters, Alice List and Anna Tuohey, both of Milton, and Margaret Speth, of Braintree; her niece, Helena M. Noris; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Helen Martinelli, Dorothy D’Apiece, Ruth Faiella and Joseph Tuohey.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church on Jan. 21. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
