Catherine “Kay” M. Walsh 95, of Milton, died at her home on May 17.
Born in Boston, she was raised in South Boston and Brookline before moving to Milton in 1957.
She was a graduate of Girls’ Latin School and Simmons College, class of 1934.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, John J. Walsh Jr. and Jane W. O’Connor, both of Milton, Susan M. Walsh, of Newport, R.I., and Martha A. Walsh, of West Roxbury; her grandnephews, John W. O’Connor, of Somerville, and Peter W. Shanley, of Newport, R.I.; her grandniece, Cathryn G. O’Connor, of Milton; and her sister-in-law, Rose Mary Walsh, of Milton.
She was the daughter of the late William J. Walsh and Mary J. (Bowles) Walsh, and sister of the late Margaret M. Walsh, William J. Walsh Jr., John J. Walsh and Edward F. Walsh.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church. Burial was in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
