Charles Cook, 78, a former longtime Milton resident, died July 30 at his home in Sturbridge after a brief illness.
Born in Louisville, Ky., he was a graduate of Purdue University.
After serving as a Navy flight engineer in the Korean War, he worked as an engineer and vice president of sales for Data Architects in Waltham and as an independent consultant for several international companies until his recent retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Sophia Lengyel Cook; three sons; three daughters; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was held in St. Elizabeth Church on Aug 6. |
