Charles H. Collins, of Milton and Cummaquid, died at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, on Jan. 10.
Born in Hyde Park, Mr. Collins lived in Milton for 37 years and had lived in Raynham for the past six months. He worked for the Secret Service for 23 years and then, after retiring, in corporate security for the New England Telephone and Telegraph Co.
He was a member of the Association of Former Agents, U.S. Secret Service, and a Marine Corpsveteran. He was a graduate of Stonehill College, class of 1960.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte M. (Deveney); his children, Michael Collins, of the Milton Police Department, and his wife, Jennifer, of Raynham, and Amy Collins and her partner, Beth Pilgrim, of Somerville; his grandson, Cameron Collins; and his sister, Carolyn Marshall, of Dedham.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on Jan. 14. Burial was in Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth Port.
