Charles H. Pretti, 92, of Milton, died at home Sept. 27.

He was a retired postal clerk in Boston and Milton.

Mr. Pretti was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.

His family was the center of his life. He was a member of the Burtonwood Association and 8th Air Force Association, and enjoyed visiting the Milton Council on Aging.

Husband of the late Alice (George) Pretti, he is survived by his children, Charles H. Pretti Jr., of Royalston, Brian G. Pretti and his wife, Joanne, of Canton, Alison Galley and her husband, Christopher, of Dover, and Adrienne Pretti, of Milton; and his grandchildren, Brian Pretti Jr., Gregory Pretti, Matthew Pretti, Katherine Pretti, Danielle Hettinger, Alice Galley and Lian Galley.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church on Sept. 30. Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
