Charles L. “Charlie” Crowe died in Falmouth Hospital on March 9.
Born and raised in Boston, he was a graduate of Commerce School in Boston. He lived in Milton for 40 years before moving to Falmouth a year ago.
A 25-year manager for White Fuel Oil, he retired in 1986.
Mr. Crowe was a former member of the Milton American Legion Post #114 and the McKeon Post in Dorchester. He was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins.
Husband of the late Gertrude E. (Joyce) Crowe, he is survived by his daughter, Patricia A. Gales and her husband, George, of Falmouth.
He was the brother of the late Margaret J. McGah, Kathleen Crowe, John F. Crowe, Joseph M. Crowe and Mary M. Crowe.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on March 12. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
