Christopher Nieves, of Chapel Hill, N.C., formerly of Milton, died April 4 after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Nieves is survived by his wife, Sharon Nieves, his children, Elyse Nieves, Charles Nieves and nephew-son Desmond Parrilla, a grandchild, Cameron Mahatha, and special friends, Charles Mahatha and his son, Marques Mahatha, all of Chapel Hill; two brothers; three sisters; one aunt; his mother- and father-in-law; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; cousins; two goddaughters; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held at Seneca Chapel in Queens, N.Y., on April 9.
