Clare M. Walsh

Clare Marie Walsh, of Milton, died at her home Nov. 5 following an illness.

She graduated from Xavier University in New Orleans and received her master’s degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati.

Miss Walsh was a retired education specialist for the commonwealth of Massachusetts. Previously, she taught at disadvantaged elementary and junior high schools in Texas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Illinois and New York.

Daughter of the late Charles Walsh and Winifred (Feeney) Walsh, she is survived by her cousin, Roseann Cholewinski, of South Boston; and her friends, Carmen Jaramillo, of Dorchester, and Helen Sevagian, of Milton.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on Nov. 10. Burial was in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
