Cynthia A. Vardaro-Papile

Cynthia A. Vardaro-Papile, 54, of Scituate, formerly of Quincy, died Dec. 7 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston a lengthy illness.
Born, raised and educated in Quincy, she was a 1973 graduate of Quincy High School and a 1977 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston.
Mrs. Vardaro-Papile worked as a human resource manager with The Patriot Ledger for 33 years and was still employed at the time of her passing.
An avid reader, she also enjoyed gardening, music, traveling and sitting on the beach. She was especially devoted to her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Raymond E. “Ray” Papile Jr.; her mother, Gladys T. (Pompeo) Vardaro, of Quincy; her sisters, Jean M. Callahan and her husband, Donald, of Dorchester, and Lisa A. Vardaro, of Quincy; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Anthony
P. Vardaro.
Mrs. Vardaro-Papile loved her golden retriever, Sofie.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy, on Dec. 11. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
