David E. Cardile

David E. Cardile, 33, of Milton, formerly of Randolph and Weymouth, died Sept. 17.

Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Weymouth High School. He was a member of the Laborer’s Union in Boston, having worked in the construction industry.

Mr. Cardile was a veteran of the Persian Gulf era and served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his parents, John S. Cardile, of Florida, and Kathleen (Burke) Cardile, of Randolph; his grandmother, Mary E. Burke, of Milton; his daughter, Rachael Hegenberger, of Mansfield; his brother, John M. Cardile, a Milton firefighter, of Blackstone; and his nieces and nephews, Nicolas Cardile, Angelina Cardile and Anthony Cardile.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church on Sept. 22. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.

Arrangements were by the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home.
