David P. Malloy

David P. Malloy, of Milton, died on Nov. 23 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was a graduate of Malvern Preparatory School, in Pennsylvania, and Boston College, class of 1964.

He worked for 35 years as a Boston schoolteacher teaching in Jeremiah E. Burke High School, Boston High School and English High School.

He was an avid Boston College sports fan and a member of the Moose Club, Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Mullane) Malloy; his daughters, Michelle Malloy, of Milton, and Carla Browning, of West Roxbury; his grandson, Scott Malloy; and his brother, James Malloy, of Pennsylvania and Florida.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Nov. 27. Burial was private.
