Dorothy H. Healy |
Dorothy H. (Seely) Healy died at Tufts Medical Center on Sept. 18. Mrs. Healy was a past president of St. Boniface Church Ladies Sodality, Quincy; past president of the Snug Harbor PTA; a former neighborhood chair for Girl Scouts of America; and a former employee of the Bargain Center in Quincy. Wife of the late Joseph H. Healy Sr., she is survived by her children, Dorothy H. Healy, of Wollaston, JoAnn Potter, of Quincy, and Joseph H. Healy Jr., of Revere; her siblings, Jerome D. Seely, of Norwood, and Marjorie Briggs, of Maryland; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Lemoine, of New Hampshire, and Christopher Potter, of Quincy; and two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frederick Seely. A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy, on Sept. 22. Burial was in Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, Attn: Memoriam Department, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215. Arrangements were by the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home. |
