Dorothy M. (Meehan) Erikson, 97, died at the Highgate Manor, Dedham, on Aug. 5.
Born in Boston, she also resided in Randolph and the River Bay Club, Quincy.
Mrs. Erikson was employed at the ammunitions depot in Weymouth during World War II, and later at the Carney Hospital and the Bradlee’s corporate office. She also did volunteer work at Milton Hospital.
Wife of the late Nils G. Erikson, she is survived by a daughter, Dorothy A. Erikson, of Stoneham; and a sister, Virginia P. O’Connor, of Milton.
She was the sister of the late Leonard F. Meehan.
A funeral service was held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home on Aug. 7. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
