Edward F. Leonard died at his home March 8, from complications from an injury caused by an accidental fall on the ice.
Born in Boston, Mr. Leonard was a graduate of Boston English High School. He had resided in Milton for 52 years.
A retired communications technician of AT&T, he retired in 1989 after a 47-year employment.
He was a daily communicant and longtime parishioner of St. Agatha Church, as well as a pilgrim to Medjugorje.
Husband of the late Marie R. (LeBlanc) Leonard, he is survived by his sons, Robert W. Leonard, of Milton, and Steven E. Leonard, of Randolph; his daughters-in-law, Nilda Leonard, of Randolph, and Ellen Leonard Pothier, of Sudbury; his grandchildren, Mark Leonard and Amy Stage; and his sisters, Mary E. Haughn, of Milton, and Phyllis McDonald, of Florida.
He was the father of the late Wayne G. Leonard.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Agatha Church on March 12. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
