Edward J. Kennefick died May 17.
Originally from Cork City, Ireland, he had resided in North Quincy for the past 40 years.
Mr. Kennefick is survived by his wife, Marcella (Healy) Kennefick; his children, Sean Kennefick, of Columbia, Md., Denis Kennefick, of Marshfield, Kevin Kennefick, of Andover, and Christine Kennefick, of Abington; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Kennefick, Stephen Kennefick, Andrew Kennefick, Nicholas Wood and Carissa Wiles; and his brother, Gerald Kennefick, of Cork City.
He was the father of the late Catherine Kennefick, and brother of the late Christine McCall, Julia McCall, John Kennefick, Bridie Kennefick, Denis Kennefick, Mary Kennefick, Patrick Kennefick and Danny Kennefick.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on May 20. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
