Eleanor A. (Gornall) Lane, 88, of Milton, died at Milton Hospital on Oct. 23 after a brief illness.

Mrs. Lane was a homemaker.

Wife of the late Arthur K. Lane, she is survived by her children, Debra Lane Shettlesworth, of Rockland, and Michael J. Lane, of Milton; and her grandchildren, Nicole and Lori Anne, of Rockland.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Oct. 28. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
