Emily Adelaide (Robertson) Lane, 97, of Milton, at Marina Bay Nursing Home died on July 7.
Born and raised in Boston, she attended the Boston Public Schools. When she married her late husband, John E. Lane, they moved to Milton, where she resided for 71 years.
Mrs. Lane was an avid reader and gardener, and loved to do crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two sisters, Mildred Callahan, of Marshfield, and Bea Mulrean, of Margate, Fla.; four children, John Lane and his wife, Joan, of Brewster, William Lane and his wife, Mary Ellen, of
John’s Creek, Ga., Judith Lane, of Milton, and Mary (Lane) Foley, of Quincy; 10 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Matilda Barney, Eleanor Morrison, Charles Robertson, James Robertson and Kenneth Robertson.
A funeral service was held in the Dolan Funeral Home on July 11. Burial was in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
