Emma Gallagher

Emma (Fleming) Gallagher, 95, died at her home on April 22.
Born in Moatsville, W.Va., she was a graduate of Lowell High School. A Milton resident for the past 52 years, she formerly lived in South Boston.
Mrs. Gallagher retired from her position as a market researcher of Gillette Co., South Boston, in 1985.
A former member of the Cunningham Women’s Bowling League, she proudly held the title as the highest single-game scorer of that organization.
She is survived by her children, John R. Gallagher, of New York, Bill E. Gallagher, of Milton, Jean M. Maher, of Norwell, and David F. Gallagher, of Milton; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was the former wife of John J. Gallagher.
A celebration of her life was held in the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, on April 26. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
