Francis J. Gallagher, of Milton, died at Milton Hospital on Dec. 27.
Born in Boston, he was a resident of Milton for the past 42 years.
Mr. Gallagher was a retired court clerk at Suffolk County Court.
He is survived by his wife, Donna M. (Conway) Gallagher; his children, Francis J. Gallagher Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Hingham, David M. Gallagher and his wife, Rebecca, of East Bridgewater, Timothy M. Gallagher, of Hull, and Christine M. Gallagher and Laurie E. Gallagher, both of Milton; his grandchildren, David Gallagher, Caitlyn Gallagher and Abigail Gallagher; and his brothers, Robert Gallagher, of Pembroke, and Edward Gallagher, of Florida.
He was the brother of the late Willard Gallagher and Patricia Topalian.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Agatha Church on Dec. 31.
