Helen C. (Kolson) Cahill, 93, died at Eventide Nursing Home, Quincy, Dec. 13.
A lifelong Quincy resident, she was a graduate of Quincy High School. Mrs. Cahill was a loving and supportive wife and mother.
A homemaker, she was happiest spending time with her family. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Agatha Church and an avid gardener.
Wife of the late Vincent S. Cahill, she is survived by her children, Richard F. Cahill and his wife, Carol, of Quincy, Joanne Lydon and her husband, James, of Cohasset, Stephen Cahill and his wife, Helen, of Plymouth, and Randall Cahill and his wife, Cheryl, of Pembroke; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late John Kolson and Mae Kolson.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Dec. 16. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
