Helen C. (Blanchard) Miller, 88, died at Carney Hospital in Dorchester on Nov. 17.

Born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, she was a graduate of Dorchester High School for Girls.

A retired executive, she worked for New England Telephone Co. for more than 34 years.

Mrs. Miller was an active member of St. Agatha Parish and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a longtime resident of Quincy.

Wife of the late Thomas L. Miller, she is survived by her son, Thomas F. Miller and his wife, J.P., of Naperville, Ill.; her grandchildren, Anne Miller, Kelsey Miller and Thomas Miller; her nephews, John Norton and his wife, Sue, and Michael Norton and his wife, Margaret; and her grandnieces and grandnephews, Michele Norton, Jackie Norton, Maggie Norton, Johnny Norton and Kevin Norton.

She was the sister of the late Ruth Norton, Leo Blanchard and George Blanchard.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Nov. 21. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
