Mrs. Helen E. (Slizewski) White, 94, died at Milton Hospital on May 31.
Born in Boston, she graduated from the Dorchester High School for Girls in Boston and lived in Dorchester until she married. She and her husband moved to Milton in 1948.
Mrs. White was devoted to family, especially to her 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren whom she entertained with great delight. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved good conversations with her many friends.
She displayed an artistic flair, which friends could see in her oil paintings, ceramics, quilting, and interior design. Another love she had was baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox.
Her enthusiasm and zest for life will be missed by all who knew her.
Wife of the late Charles H. White, she is survived by her children, Charles H. White Jr. and his wife, Marie, of Annapolis, Md., Richard C. White and his wife, Joan, of Norwell, David W. White and his wife, Joan, of Canton, and Robert F. White and his wife, Crystal, of Duxbury.
She was the sister of the late Emil Slizewski.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church on June 4. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
