Helen L. McGachie, 95, died Oct. 12 in St. Joseph Manor, Brockton.

Born in Boston, she was a 50-year resident of Quincy.

Ms. McGachie was a retired employee of the Lincoln Stores Inc., former bookkeeper/secretary for the city of Quincy Auditor’s Office and the former treasurer of the Quincy Municipal Credit Union. She retired in 1981.

She was a parishioner at St. Agatha Church.

Daughter of the late Harry L. McGachie and Julia M. (McCormick) McGachie, she is survived by her nieces, Mary Lou Sirois, of Florida, and Marthea “Marty” Murphy, of Canton; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was the sister of the late Mary P. Willett, Dorothea E. McGachie and Harry L. McGachie, and aunt of the late Frederick W. Willett.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Oct. 15. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

Donations may be made to St. Joseph Manor (Cherrywood Unit), 215 Thatcher St., Brockton, MA 02032.
