Henry F. Lally, 99, died Sept. 19 at his home in Quincy.
Born in Weymouth, he graduated from Weymouth High School.
A veteran of World War II, serving in the Coast Guard, Mr. Lally was an engineer for the U.S. Military Sea Transportation Service, retiring in October 1969.
He was employed by the Submarine Signal Co. in Boston. He graduated from Officer Training School in Fort Trumbull, Conn.; was a partner in Healy & Lally Co., where he did repair work and maintenance for churches; and was a union carpenter.
Husband of the late Ann F. (White) Lally, he is survived by his children, Maryann Sudmyer and her husband, Robert, and Jean Eager and her husband, Richard, all of Grafton, James Lally and his wife, Cindie, of Quincy, and Joseph P. Lally and his wife, Mary Margaret, of Hull; his grandchildren, Kasey Conrad, Courtney Sudmyer, Matthew Lally, Michael Lally, Madeline Lally, Brooke Lally, Nevin Lally and Brittany Eager; and his great-grandson, Max Conrad.
A funeral service was held in the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home on Sept. 21. Burial was in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
