Hugh “Mac” McQueen, 71, died at his home in Quincy on March 8.

Mr. McQueen was a retired truck driver for BFI and a retiree from the Boston Housing Authority. He was a member of the American Legion Post 076 in Jamaica Plain and the South Quincy Social Club.

He is survived by his wife, Helen E. (Ryan) McQueen; his children, John McQueen, of Weymouth, Lisa Letton and James N. Miller, both of Quincy, and Anthony V. Miller and his wife, Frances, of Dorchester; and his granddaughter, Samantha Letton, of Fairhaven.
