Ingrid (Fredrickson) Jeffery, 89, of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Milton, died Aug. 1 in Manchester, N.H.
Born in Oslo, Norway, she immigrated to the United States at the age of 19.
A trained massage therapist, she worked until her retirement at the age of 85.
Mrs. Jeffery was a resident of Milton from 1962 to 1982. She lived in Palm Beach, Fla., until 2009 when she relocated to be near her daughter in New Hampshire.
She was a member of the Sons of Norway and the Viking Club of Quincy.
Wife of the late Robert G. Jeffery, she is survived by her children, Jan Carlo Antonsen, of Norway, Thor Jeffery, of North Quincy, Diane Lapworth Jones, of Rockland, David R. Jeffery, of Easton, and Denise
A. Jeffery, of Hooksett, N.H.; her sister, Bjorg
Bogh, of Norway; nine grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Aug. 11 in the Church of Our Saviour.
