Born in Boston, Irene grew up in Dorchester and also resided in Brockton before moving to Weymouth. She was a retired Banking Loan Officer and was an avid traveler. She loved to ski and was devoted to her family and grandson and great grandsons.

Beloved wife of the late Edward J, she was the devoted mother of Cynthia Goff-Hogan & her husband William E. Hogan of Boston. Loving grandmother of Jesse E. Goff and his wife Julie, she was also the great grandmother of Aidan & Gavin Goff. She was the sister of Kathleen McCormick of CT, Pauline Roach of FL & the late Richard & Joseph Benson.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated St. Agatha Church, Milton Friday morning, February 3, at 11:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Thursday, February 2, from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Native American Heritage Assn., P.O.
