Jacqueline Kashmira Desai, 18, died at her home in Hingham on Sept. 19.

Miss Desai was a former student of Tabor Academy and Williston Northampton School.

She is survived by her parents, Erach D. Desai and Marybeth Reen-Desai; her siblings, Jonathan Desai and Grace Desai, both of Hingham; her grandparents, Cecelia (Gavin) Reen and Jeremiah T. Reen, of Plymouth, and Annoo Desai, of Pakistan; her uncles, Joseph Reen and his wife, Tory, of Dedham, and Sheeroy Desai and his wife, Barbara, of California.

She was the granddaughter of the late Dosoo Desai.

A funeral service was held in St. John’s Episcopal Church on Sept. 23. Burial was private.
