Janice C. (Nagle) Dinger, of Milton, died May 5 in Beth Israel Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Francis Nagle and Anna (Burke) Nagle.
A resident of Milton for many years, she attended St. Gregory Parish schools in Dorchester. She was a volunteer at St. Margaret’s Hospital, past president of the Catholic Women’s Club of Canton, and a member of Wollaston Golf Club and Scituate’s Hatherly Country Club.
She is survived by her husband, Paul C. Girouard; her children, Stephen P. Dinger, of Scituate, Robert M. Dinger, of Quincy, Joseph D. Dinger, of Hingham, Mary Ann Digan, of Scituate, Barbara J. Powers, of Duxbury, and David F. Dinger, of Norwell; 12 grandchildren; and her sister, Marie A. Brennan, of Milton.
She was the wife of the late David E. Dinger, mother of the late Michael Dinger and sister of the late Francis Nagle.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on May 10. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
