Joan C. (Bastey) Galvin, of Quincy, died at home on July 13.
Born in Boston, she was a lifelong Quincy resident and a graduate of North Quincy High School.
Mrs. Galvin was an employee of Bay Cove Human Services, Boston.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory F. Galvin; her daughters, Laurie Higgins and her husband, Matthew, of Quincy, Kerry Westerlund and her husband, Christopher, of Brockton, Kimberly Dalia and
her husband, Brian, of Rockland,
and Jaime Grant and her husband, George of Quincy; her sister,
Linda Gale and her husband, George, of Georgia; and 11 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton on July 16. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
