Joan M. (Johnson) Joyce died at Wingate Nursing Home in Needham on Aug. 24.
Mrs. Joyce was a retired account clerk for the Boston school system.
Wife of the late Francis H. Joyce, she is survived by her son, James F. Joyce, of Walpole; her sister, Audrey C. Hurley, of Milton; and her nieces, Diane H. Juliano, of Sudbury, and Jayne Morgan, of Melrose.
She was the sister of the late James Johnson, Robert Johnson and Edward Johnson,
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Aug. 26. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
