John C. Cotter

John C. Cotter, of Dennis Port, formerly of Randolph, died July 25.
He was a retired substation operator for Boston Edison Co. and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion.
Husband of 43 years to the late Kathleen P. (Fallon) Cotter and the late Joan (Mulcahy) Cotter, he is survived by his children, Linda Burke and her husband, Kevin, of Foxboro, Patricia Scarbo and her husband, Joseph, of Milton, Jayne Davis and her husband, William, of Foxboro, Karen Argus and her husband, Jay, of Canton and Diane Finegan and her husband, James, of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren; and his friend, Phyllis DeFeo, of Yarmouth.
He was the brother of the late Robert and Neil Cotter.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on July 29.
