John F. “Jack” Creedon, 82, of Milton, died Nov. 21.

A Milton firefighter for 21 years, he graduated from Boston State College in 1971. He later worked as a middle school math teacher in the Milton public schools until his retirement in 1989.

Mr. Creedon served in the Navy and in the Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Creedon; his daughters, Julianne Creedon, of Randolph, and Joan Glick and her husband, Peter, of Foxboro; and his grandchildren, Abigail Glick and Tyler Glick, both of Foxboro.

He was the brother of the late William Creedon, Anastasia Creedon, Joseph Creedon and James Creedon.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Mary of the Hills Church on Nov. 29. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
