John J. Roche Jr. |
John J. Roche Jr. died at his home on Sept. 17. He was a 40-year retired employee of New England Telephone Co. Mr. Roche was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served four years of active duty in the Pacific on the USS LaVallette. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Conley) Roche; his children, John J. Roche III and his wife, Mary (Kelley) Roche, of Hingham, and Mary T. Roche, of Hull; and his grandchildren, Kelley Roche, John J. Roche IV, Christopher Roche and Brian Roche, of Hingham. He was the brother of the late Howard Roche. A memorial Mass was celebrated in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Hull, on Sept. 25. Burial was private. Arrangements were by the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home. |
