John L. MacIsaac

John L. MacIsaac, 91, of Milton, died at home June 6.

Originally from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, he came to the United States in 1945.

A retired, self-employed carpenter, Mr. MacIsaac was a former member of the Canadian American Club, Watertown; St. Peter’s, Dorchester; St. Agatha’s Holy Name Society; Cunningham Men’s Bowling League; and Presidents Golf Club.

He is survived by his wife, Effie (MacLellan) MacIsaac; his children, Mary M. Foley and her husband, Patrick, of Quincy, Brenda R. McDonough and her husband, Stephen, of Nantucket, John D. MacIsaac and his wife, Christine, of Rockland, Edward J. MacIsaac and his wife, Sarah Wolstenholme, of Canton, Allan F. MacIsaac, of Milton, and Joan M. MacIsaac and her husband, Benjamin Misch, of Canton; his granddaughters, Ashley, Sarah, Christine, Hilary, Allison and Alexa; and his brother, Joseph A. MacIsaac, of Quincy.

He was the brother of the late Duncan A. MacIsaac, John F. MacIsaac, Alexander J. MacIsaac, Daniel B. MacIsaac, Alphonsus H. MacIsaac, Mathias G. MacIsaac and Roderick C. MacIsaac.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Agatha Church on June 10. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
