Joseph F. Daly died June 25.
Born in Boston and a 34-year Quincy resident, he was formerly from Mattapan.
A retired printer of Relief Printing in Boston, he was a Navy veteran of World War II. He served on the USS Memphis, and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal, American Theatre Medal, European African Middle East Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Daly was a former employee of the Village Forge in Readville and Dorchester Awning in Pembroke.
He loved attending the activities and sporting events of his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joan D. (Fenton) Daly; his children, Nancy E. Mascaro, of New Jersey, Barbara A. Hale, of Marshfield, Joseph K. Daly, of Quincy, and Christopher S. Daly, of Norwell; his brother, John Daly, of Hyde Park; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Richard L. Daly.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Ann Church, Quincy, on June 29. Burial was in National Cemetery, Bourne.
