Joseph N. Verrochi died in Florida on May 9.
Born in Boston, he lived in Hingham and Boca Raton, Fla., for over 50 years.
Mr. Verrochi was the president of VRT Corp. of Norwell and a life member of Ancient and Honorable Artillery Co. of Massachusetts. He was also a former member of National Solid Waste Association and of New England Road Builders Association, and former director at Scituate Federal Savings Bank.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Emily R. (Braga) Verrochi; his daughters, Camille Verrochi Wiley and Dianne Verrochi Forman, both of Norwell; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Wiley, Meaghan Wiley, Emily Forman and Victoria Forman; and his siblings, Julia Pacella, of Norwell, Michael Verrochi, of Hingham, and Carolyn Scheick, of North Carolina.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Church of the Resurrection, Hingham, on May 15. Entombment was in Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell.
