Julie Marie Connelly, 50, died at her home in Milton on Sept. 3 after an illness.
Born in Boston, she was a lifelong resident of Milton. She was a graduate of St. Agatha School; Fontbonne Academy, in 1977; and Boston College, in 1981. She had worked in the finance industry since her graduation from college.
In her capacity as senior vice president at Citizens Bank, Miss Connelly was in charge of community affairs. She loved her banking family and was also a member of the Board for the Women’s Institute for Housing and Economic Development.
She is survived by her mother, Jane E. (Farley) Connelly, of Milton; her siblings, Marianne Connelly, of Brighton, and Roderick M. Connelly III and Jennifer Connelly-Wolff, both of Milton; and her nephews and niece, Roddy Connelly, Danny Connelly, Maggie Wolff and Jeffrey Wolff.
She was the daughter of the late Roderick M. Connelly Jr.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on Sept. 8.
