Katherine A. Fornaro

Katherine A. (Vento) Fornaro, 90, of Milton, died at Radius of Quincy on Nov. 12.

Born in Boston and raised in South Boston, she was a graduate of the Woodward School for Girls in Quincy.

Mrs. Fornaro was a seamstress for Cables Raincoat Co. of South Boston for many years before working in the dietary department at Milton Hospital.

She retired after 20 years with the School Department at the Milton High School cafeteria.

Wife of the late Guy Fornaro, she is survived by her children, Nicholas Fornaro and his wife, Susan, of Easton, Elizabeth A. Fornaro, of Weymouth, and Robert G. Fornaro, of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Alex Fornaro, of Easton, Christopher Fornaro, of Weymouth, and Alyssa Fornaro, of Marion; her great-grandchildren, Tyler M. Fornaro and Gabriella S. Fornaro; and her sisters, Ann Graul and Mary Lima, both of Plymouth.

She was the sister of the late Joseph Vento, Nick Vento, Anthony Vento and John Vento.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on Nov. 16. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
