Kathleen M. (Devin) Mullen died after a long illness on Nov. 28.

Mrs. Mullen was a graduate of St. Agatha School, Fontbonne Academy and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Boston State College.

She taught in the Milton Public Schools for 30 years. Most of her teaching years were spent teaching first grade. She also taught kindergarten and second grade.

She served as an elected Town Meeting member in Precinct 5 and Precinct 7 and was also elected to the Milton Housing Authority.

She was the wife of James G. Mullen Jr.; mother of Molly A. and Julie D. Mullen; sister of Brian V. Devin and George M. Devin; niece of Mary E. Connolly; and aunt of seven nieces and five nephews, all of Milton.

She was the daughter of the late Madeline L. (Connolly) and Arthur A. Devin; and sister of the late Michael A. Devin.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Agatha Church on Friday, Dec. 2, at 9 a.m.

Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.

Arrangements were by the Dolan Funeral Home.
