Lenore A. (Walsh) Fidler died May 10.

Born and raised in Newton, she was a longtime resident of Milton.

Mrs. Fidler retired in 1988 after 20 years from her position as secretary at Milton High School.

She was a dedicated and active parishioner of St. Elizabeth Parish.

Wife of the late William T. Fidler, she is survived by her children, William J. Fidler and his wife, Antoinette, of Stoughton, Joseph M. Fidler and his wife, Maryann, of Canton, Mary L. Danner and her husband, Richard, of New Hampshire, Anne T. Fidler and her husband, Andrew McBrearty, of Milton, Timothy J. Fidler and his wife, Jeanne, of Mansfield, and Richard J. Fidler and his wife, Karen Macdonald, of Plymouth; her sister, Anna Coughlin, of Peabody; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Agnes Travers, Helen Brearley, Elizabeth Sullivan, William Walsh, John Walsh, Richard Walsh, James Walsh, Josephine Walsh and Alice Walsh.

A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Parish on May 13. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
