Margaret A. (Linehan) James, 88, died Feb. 2 at the Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Chatham.
Born in Milton, Mrs. James was a graduate of Milton High School. She resided in both Milton and Quincy before moving to Chatham 35 years ago.
Wife of the late Samuel James, she is survived by her brother, John Linehan, and her sister, Ann Linehan, both of Milton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Edward Linehan and Timothy Linehan.
A funeral service was held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home on Feb. 8. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
