Margaret A. (Collins) Lind, 97, died May 28 at Hebrew Senior Life Center in Boston.
Born, raised and educated in Boston, Mrs. Lind resided in Dorchester prior to her move to Milton 70 years ago. She was a summer resident of Eastham for 60 years.
A loving and supportive wife and mother, she was an avid gardener who enjoyed sewing and knitting.
Wife of the late Henry F. Lind, she is survived by her children, Henry F. Lind Jr. and his wife, Betsie, of Eastham, and Marjorie A. Marr, of New Hampshire; her grandchildren, Teresa A. Lind and Andrew H. Lind, both of Boston; and her brother, Robert P. Collins of Weymouth. She was the aunt and honorary grandmother of many.
She was the sister of the late Anna C. Conley, Helen Lanzillo, Mary T. Collins, Nora T. Collins, Jeremiah Collins, James Collins, Joseph Collins and Gerard Collins.
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church on June 2. Burial was in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
