Margaret Maria (Morris) Leonard, of Quincy, died in Braintree on Nov. 26.

Born in Boston, she was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Jamaica Plain.

She was employed by New England Telephone and Telegraph Co. for 10 years.

A resident of Milton for 30 years, she moved to Quincy in 1980. Her family was her life.

She is survived by her children, Edward J. Leonard Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of The Villages, Fla., Mary M. Leonard, of Quincy, Ann M. Horgan and her husband, John, of Braintree, Margaret M. Greenberg and her husband, Mark, of Melrose, Kathleen R. Carten and her husband, Thomas, of Milton, Joan E. Cunningham and her husband, Neil, of Quincy, and Judith F. Rezendes and her husband, Robert, of Sandwich; her son-in-law, Bennett Lavine, of Needham; her sister, Catherine Foley, of Connecticut; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late Edward J. Leonard; mother of the late Claire T. Lavine; and sister of six other late brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Mary Church, West Quincy, on Nov. 30. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
